Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Voince (the "Service"), an AI-powered invoice data extraction platform available at voince.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Voince allows you to upload PDF invoices, extract structured data from them using a locally-hosted language model, review and edit the extracted data, and export it to CSV or Excel. All AI processing happens on our own infrastructure; no invoice data is sent to external AI providers.

2. Eligibility and account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Voince.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts by automated means.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you do not have the right to process
  • Upload documents containing special categories of personal data (health, biometric, financial account numbers of third parties, etc.) unless you have the legal right and legal basis to do so
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws, including data protection laws
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
  • Use the Service to build a competing product
  • Upload malware or any file that is not a PDF invoice

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Plans, payments, and renewals

4.1 Free plan

The Free plan allows up to 10 invoices per calendar month, free of charge.

4.2 Pro plan

The Pro plan costs $10 USD per month and allows up to 100 invoices per calendar month. Payment is accepted in cryptocurrency via our processor, Trybit.

4.3 Billing model

Voince uses an internal balance model. You top up your balance with cryptocurrency, and the monthly Pro fee is automatically debited from that balance. If your balance is insufficient at renewal time, your account is marked as past due and downgraded to Free after the current period ends.

4.4 Refunds

Cryptocurrency payments are non-refundable. Because blockchain transactions are irreversible, we cannot issue refunds once a top-up is confirmed. If you believe there has been an error, contact us at [email protected].

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your Account page. On cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of the current paid period. Unused balance remains available for future use.

5. AI output and your responsibility to verify

Voince uses AI to extract invoice data, but AI can make mistakes. Extracted values (supplier, invoice number, dates, amounts, line items) may be incomplete or inaccurate.

  • We run deterministic business validation (arithmetic checks, required fields) to flag obvious errors.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing extracted data before relying on it.
  • Voince is a data extraction tool, not an accounting, tax, or legal advisor. Do not use it as your sole source of truth for financial decisions.

6. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. We claim no ownership over your content.

Voince, its logo, code, and design are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voince and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if the Service is discontinued. On termination, we will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be communicated by email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Voince operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
